• Overview
  The New JET 13" bench top planer delivers the power and efficiency that woodworkers demand in the shop. Features include a helical-style cutterhead with 6 rows of 26 precision sharpened blades, rugged 4 post design, adjustable folding tables, 2 infeed speeds and a sturdy cast iron base which helps reduce snipe.

  The New JET 13" Planer produces a smooth and consistent cut surface thanks to its helical-style cutterhead with 6 rows of 26 individual quick change inserts which can be easily rotated or replaced if damaged or worn. This helical-style head design helps reduce noise as its 2HP motor is turning at an impressive 10,000 RPM. The precision machined cast iron bed and steel cover construction assists in keeping boards flat and reduces snipe. Tying into the base are 4 threaded steel posts which provide maximum control and support of the cutterhead in reference to the workpiece and table. A control lever adjusts the infeed speed to maximize cut efficiency on different wood types. The cutterhead can remove up to 1/8" material with smooth each pass. Folding adjustable infeed/outfeed tables and convenient side handles allow planer to be easily moved around the shop or jobsite.
