  • Does the Screen Printer work with the M1 and P2 as well?

Yes! But you need the riser base when you combine the xTool screen printer with P2 or M1.

Does the Multi-Color Suit work with the M1 and F1?

Since multi-color cases require positioning operations, we recommend that the M1 and F1 be purchased with a single-color set.

In the future, would you have some kind of gadget to hold a smaller screen?

Yes, we have developed and designed and plan to market a size of 9 * 12 inches size mesh frame and the corresponding mesh fabric.

Can we use other screens on the xTool frame?

We use stainless steel screens, coated with photosensitive adhesive for curing, and the edges are wrapped in paper. Therefore, if we can make a wire mesh of the same size and specification according to this method, it can be placed inside the frame.

Is it possible to offer blank screens where we can add emulsion ourselves and laser it?

If you are already a professional screen printing enthusiast, you can try to remove the coating and then add emulsion again. Because our coating composition is completely consistent with the coating on the common screen - they are all cured with photosensitive glue. The main purpose of screen printing machines is to meet the needs of beginners to get started quickly, so we will persist in finding ways to lower the entry threshold for beginners.

Is the screen reusable or only for a single use?

Yes, the coated screen is reusable. Each screen is capable of supporting at least a hundred prints. You can reuse the design, but it requires an extra step. To do this, you need to remove the existing emulsion using an emulsion remover and then reapply a new emulsion. This step may fail and you will need to explore adjusting the laser parameters again. In theory, this process allows for endless reuse, but in practice, the mesh will eventually degrade, and you will need to replace it.

Can the screens be cleaned and reclaimed?

Yes, it can be cleaned and reclaimed. Water-based ink can be rinsed with water. If some ink remains, gently brush with a soft brush. For dried, stubborn ink, soak the screen in water overnight before washing. Use non-corrosive detergents for thorough cleaning. Test on a small area first to avoid damage. Rinse with water and let the screen dry naturally or use compressed air. Follow all safety guidelines for any chemical cleaner, work in a well-ventilated area, and avoid using hard or sharp tools to prevent screen damage. These steps may fail and you will need to adjust the laser parameters again. Over time the screen may wrinkle and the mesh degrade.

How does P2 do multi-color printing?

For multi-color printing on the P2, you will also need a Frame Fixing Piece for the P2.

Can the Frame Fixing Piece adapt to the extension kit of D series?

The Frame Fixing Piece not be compatible with the D series extension kit. However, we value your loyalty and would like to offer you the maximum discount. This way, you can keep the original expansion kit and use another laser machine specifically for screen printing.
