  These CNC plans includes Cam Clamps for Work Holding Wasteboard CNC Plans, Downloadable and Customizable

  A high quality work holding wasteboard, like this one designed for the Stepcraft M.1000 CNC machine, is one of the best upgrades you can make to your CNC.  This wasteboard uses cam clamps, also included in the plans, to hold your work piece against the fence security. They hold from the side of the work piece, making the top of your material free of any clamps. It uses ¼-20 t-nuts and can also be used with top hold down clamps using the same size bolt if you prefer. This wasteboard is sized out for the Stepcraft M.1000 with and without the Auto Tool Changer attachment but may be modified to fit smaller or larger sized CNCs if you would like. To customize the design, after resizing the wasteboard to your desired size, you will need to copy existing rows and add the additional rows to fill out the space if making it larger or delete rows to fit it to a smaller size. Then you will select those to add them to the toolpath so that they will cut correctly. Some steps in the instructions may be different if working with a different CNC machine.
