TBX 8 Tabless Battery
When the job demands more, the TBX 8 delivers. With 8.0 Ah capacity and tabless cell technology, this is the most powerful and longest-running battery in the Festool system—built for high-demand tools like saws and dust extractors. Tabless technology reduces internal resistance, delivering more usable power with less heat. That means longer runtime, consistent performance under load, and faster charging.
With AIRSTREAM technology, the battery is actively cooled during charging—so it’s ready to go again in as little as 25 minutes with the SCA 16 rapid charger. Bluetooth® connectivity adds even more control. Automatically start a paired Dust Extractor when the tool powers on, or use the Festool app to monitor charge level, temperature, and usage data. From heavy-duty cutting to continuous extraction, the TBX 8 keeps you working longer—with the power to get through the toughest tasks.
Strengths and Benefits
- Maintain performance under load: Tabless cell design reduces heat and internal resistance for more consistent power when tools are pushed hard.
- Keep dust extraction automatic: Bluetooth® starts a paired CLEANTEC Dust Extractor when the tool is switched on.
- Work reliably in tough conditions: Built to perform in both hot and cold environments without compromising output.
- Protect your tools and work surfaces: Soft-touch base helps prevent slipping and reduces contact damage.
- Stay informed on your battery: Use the Festool app to view charge level, temperature, and usage data.
- Check charge at a glance: Integrated LED display shows battery level anytime.
- Work with confidence: Covered by Festool’s 3-year wear-and-tear warranty.
- Run longer on demanding jobs: 8.0 Ah capacity delivers the runtime and sustained power needed for high-load applications.
- Get back to work faster: Low heat generation allows immediate recharging, with AIRSTREAM active cooling bringing the battery back to ready in as little as 25 minutes.
