This Sjobergs school workbench is constructed from fine European beech which is then given a lacquer finish to withstand hard use. Each complete unit is assembled from four separate workbenches, each with it's own end vise and double row of 3/4" bench dog holes. This arrangement yields very flexible clamping options; use the vise alone or use the vise with bench dogs for larger clamping jobs. Four distinct work zones also allow comfortable and efficient Student placement. Center portion of the assembly doubles as a tool trough or convenient Student book storage area. Each unit is supplied with 16 bench dogs, 4 per work zone. Solid beech trestle for a comfortable 35" work height. Other accessories such as Gas Springs, hydraulic lift, hinged stools, hold down clamps, jaw cushions and more are available separately.
