With a headstock and legs made from cast iron and a precision-machined steel bed, the Revo 18|36 is built for stability and durability. The 1.5hp, 110v motor offers electronic variable speed control over two speed ranges (50-1,300 r.p.m. and 135-3,500 r.p.m.), and a quick-release handle and easy-to-access pulleys make speed setting changes simple. The electronic variable speed is obtained via a variable frequency drive that converts 1-phase input to 3-phase output, so even at low settings you will get an incredible amount of torque. The digital readout gives you an accurate speed at all times, and any fine adjustments are made electronically. The Revo 18|36 offers 18'' swing over bed and 36'' between centers, with 4-1/2'' of quill travel. It comes with a spur drive and a live center with both cone and cup tips. The headstock slides easily to the right end of the bed for outboard turning of larger bowls and platters.
