Solid Carbide Spiral Flute Plunge with Corner Radius Router Bits
Spiral bits combine a shearing action in cutting with an augering action in chip clearance. The shearing action yields an especially clean & accurate cut, while the augering action clears chips from the cut. The “up-cut” shears from the bottom up, pulling chips from the bottom up, thus allowing deeper penetration with less stress on the tool. An excellent choice for mortising.- Unique carbide grade for longer lifetime
- Produces a superior finish and longer tool life
- Razor-sharp cutting edges/polished flutes'
- Can be used with hand-held, table-mounted
portable routers and CNC machines - Industrial quality
Excellent for cutting:
- Aluminum
- MDF
- Soft/Hard Plastic
- Soft/Hard Wood
ZrN™ Coated Router Bits – Made in the USA
Amana Tool® solid carbide router bits provide consistent, repeatable quality. Every tool is guaranteed to match the geometry on the prints, every time on every order. Best control of carbide grades for woodworking, and absolute control of quality standards on all carbide blanks.
Benefits of Zirconium Nitride (ZrN) Coating- Creates a harder and tougher cutting edge allows for a prolonged cutting edge life and helps to prevent the build-up of material in the flutes while cutting
- Have the tendency to run/spin much faster than an uncoated tool
- Optimized flute geometry and low Total Indicated Runout (TIR) guarantees clean cuts, essentially eliminates sanding and reduces chatter (where the machine or work piece vibrates) under high chip loads (when used with low TIR spindles)
- High flute volume supports high feed rates and chip loads
- High aspect ratio for single pass deep-reach cutting
- Flute geometry optimized for cutting sign foam, sign board, hardwoods, thermoplastics and phenolic composites
