Olie from Olie’s Wood Shop builds this custom Credenza from double-sided laminated plywood using Amana Tool® CNC Router Bits
Olie Resurfaces the spoilboard using 2-1/2" Dia. Heavy-Duty CNC Spoilboard Insert Carbide 3 Wing Router Bit no. RC-2255 and cuts the door panels with 3/8" Dia. CNC Solid Carbide Spektra Extreme Tool Life Coated Compression Spiral Router Bit no. 46172-K. The chamfers are the last step before assembly and she uses 90° Insert Carbide V-Groove no. RC-1102 for this step.
Olie makes the cuts on her ShopSabre PRO408 CNC machine and finishes her material with Oide's Oil for a extraordinary finish and stabilizer.
CNC V Groove Router Bits provide unique grinding angles to eliminate build up at the V point. The innovative CNC tool design uses a high grade solid carbide insert knife. Spektra-Coated Compression Spiral Router Bits utilize a micro-thin ceramic coating which enables the tool's cutting edge to retain crucial sharpness and lubricity. This provides longevity and produces cutting results of the highest quality.

VIDEO TRANSCRIPTION:
If you would have told me years ago that I would be woodworking, I wouldn't have believed you. And yet, here I am. My name is Olie and today I'm going to be building a Credenza. First, I'm going to start off by resurfacing the spoil board to ensure my sheets lay perfectly flat for maximum that can [0:00:19 unclear] hold them.
Now that I've got the spoil board resurfaced, I'm ready to start cutting the files from my Credenza. The Amana Spektra 3/8 Compression bit will leave a perfectly clean cut both on the top and the bottom of these double-sided laminated door panels I'm cutting.
I'll be going for an exposed plywood look. So, it's going to take quite a few panels. I'm using a 90-degree Amana RC-1102 V-Bit for some chamfered edges for the Credenza. And now that I've got all the panels cut, I'm ready for my glue up. I'm aligning each panel and using my nail gun to hold everything into place. Locked and Loaded, nail gun ready. Bam!
Now everything gets clamped and once it's dried, the most tedious part of the whole process begins, the sanding. I'm using Gator finishing sandpaper and starting at 80 Grit all the way up to 800 Grit for a nice sheen. Odie’s Oil is what I use to finish all my pieces. It's easy to use, all natural and smells delicious. Fits like a glove. I'm loving how this piece came out. The CNC router bits from ToolsToday gave my Credenza a clean cut literally.
Once again, my name is Olie. Thanks for watching. I want to give a huge thanks to ToolsToday for sponsoring this video. See you guys, next time.
