  Remodelers and builders need an accurate square they can keep in their tool pouch, always within easy reach for a quick square or 45° mark. We’ve taken the basic carpenter’s square and elevated it with a beefier shoulder and precision machining of each surface. Woodpeckers Carpenters Square meets the needs of the construction site, but fits in just as well in a furniture or cabinet shop.

  Speed, Accuracy and Convenience for Your Tool Pouch

  We machine the central core from cast and ground tool plate…the most stable aluminum on the market. Our CNC milling centers deliver a precision that can’t be matched by stamped or molded squares. The cheeks on the base leg of the square give it a solid footing for assembly checks and a deep reference edge when marking construction lumber. They’re precisely located at the factory, but should they ever get knocked out of alignment, recalibration is a simple process you can do anywhere.

  The bright “Woodpeckers Red” anodized finish makes the square easy to spot on the job site or in your tool box and protects the surface. The square edge is graduated in inches to add yet another useful feature.

  Like all Woodpeckers Tools, The Carpenter’s Square is precisely machined and carefully inspected in our Strongsville, Ohio factory (just south of Cleveland).
