The unique design of this thin kerf blade allows it to be used effectively for both ripping and crosscutting operations. The teeth are grouped in sets of five. The large gullets between each set of teeth removes the large amount of dust generated during ripping operations. And the top bevel grind on each tooth cleanly shears tough end-grain when crosscutting. The thin kerf design required less horsepower while generating less feed resistance. This blade is an outstanding value and it is especially well suited for lower horsepower saws.
