  • Woodpeckers new SF-PRO Router Table Fence reflects two decades of design refinement. Everything we've learned about woodworkers and their router tables has been woven into the new design. Both infeed and outfeed fences have 32-pitch screw-feed adjustment with .001" micrometer dial graduations. The new low-profile base adds to the fence rigidity, knobs are elevated for easy access, the dust port is designed for minimal interference and optimum air flow and all adjustments are easy to make with ratcheting levers and knurled knobs… no tools needed. It’s the easiest-to-use, most capable router fence we’ve ever made.

The independently micro-adjustable two-piece fence highlights the new feature set. You can align the outfeed fence to the cutter and use the infeed fence to set depth of cut…just like a jointer. Or, establish the cut with the fence position and tweak the outfeed fence to match…just like a spindle shaper. In either method you're adjusting the fence with a micrometer-like 32-pitch screw and a maximum throw of 1/2". The hairline indicator for the scale is laser engraved on the bottom of the reticle, completely eliminating parallax viewing error. If you need to make an incremental adjustment, the micrometer dial is graduated in thousandths, with 1/8" between graduations, adding a whole new meaning to "sneak up on the fit".

A precision-milled solid phenolic plate forms the foundation of SF-PRO. This mica-surfaced phenolic has a low-friction finish that makes fence adjustments smooth and easy. The T-slots nuts are design for effortless installation in slots spaced 17” apart. Nestled in the middle is the low-profile dust port. It's sized to accept either 2-1/2" dust collection hose or 2-1/4" shop vac hose.

Your SF-PRO comes with two sacrificial MDF fences and a pair of Featherboard Tracks. Woodpeckers Variable Pressure Featherboards can be mounted to the Featherboard Tracks when the sacrificial fences are in place or mounted directly to the aluminum SuperTrack when the sacrificial fences aren't needed. The same goes for Woodpeckers SuperTrack Flip Stops. They have two mounting points so you can use them with or without the sacrificial fences .

Woodpeckers SF-PRO fits all Woodpeckers router tables, new or old. It's designed to fit in extruded tracks or milled T-slots spaced 17" on center. If you're building a router table, we even make the perfect bit to mill T-slots directly in your table top. Already have our previous Super Fence? We offer an upgrade kit that turns your Super Fence into the new fully-featured SF-PRO.

Like all Woodpeckers products, the SF-PRO Router Table Fence is precisely machined and carefully inspected in facility in Strongsville, Ohio (just south of Cleveland).

A compression bit features both up-cut and down-cut flutes, pulling material fibers toward the center to achieve clean, splinter-free edges on both faces—perfect for plywood and laminates. Conversely, a down-cut bit pushes chips downward, yielding a smooth top surface but often leaving rough or torn bottom edges. The primary distinction is how each bit directs chips and fibers, directly affecting the finish quality of the cut edges, especially on double-sided or veneered materials.
A compression router bit is best used when cutting plywood, laminates, or veneered boards to prevent tear-out on both the top and bottom surfaces. By combining up-cut and down-cut flutes, it effectively pulls fibers toward the center, ensuring exceptionally clean, chip-free edges on both sides of the material in a single pass.
Yes, Amana router bits are generally considered to be of high quality. They are known for their durability, precision, and sharpness, making them a popular choice among both professionals and hobbyists. Many users find them reliable for a wide range of woodworking and applications in some metals.Such as aluminum/non-ferrous metals, ACM , MDF / HDF , solid surfaces, fiberglass, PVCs , acrylics, composites, and other man-made materials.
